This wonderful antique ring, which weighs 2.0 grams, has a scroll engraved band leading to the fabulous gem set gallery. The ring is set centrally with two rectangular step-cut Green Beryl Gemstones & two Pearls flanked by a Pearl and another Beryl to either side – all in closed back settings. As shown this fine quality Victorian ring is stamped with a full British Hallmark inside the shank confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold & that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1872. Overall it is in great condition with only expected wear to the surfaces commensurate with age; on close inspection one of the smaller Green Beryl gemstones has been replaced historically and is a darker shade of green. The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size’K 1/2′, which equates to a US Ring Size’5 1/2′; a. S with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i. E it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.
