Gold Imperial Roman Filigree Earrings Set With Cameo & Decorated With Pearls

Elaborate gold shield style earrings, intricately decorated with threads of gold by twisting them into this beautiful design using the Filigree technique, and decorated. From the trapezoid bar at the base are suspended three pelleted drops with beads of Pearls and an emerald bead in the centre pelleted drops of both earrings. The centre is set with a cameo of a lady’s face. Height: 4.3cm (43mm). Width: 1.5cm (15mm). Condition: The Earrings are in good condition, looks very old and has not been cleaned or polished.
