So here are the descriptions for each. My favorite first lady… A grand and gracious woman, and I adore her spunky style and no-nonsense nature. It seems appropriate that my favorite jeweler and she were members of the “Mutual Admiration Society”, and that she wore and became known for her signature pearl choker necklace designed by Kenneth Jay Lane. This simulated pearl necklace is the identical style that Mrs. Bush wore (except that hers was in ivory pearls), and was rarely seen without. She sent Kenneth Jay Lane a handwritten note, telling him that people were disappointed when she didn’t have them on. This necklace contains alabaster glass pearls that are gray in color. There are three beautiful strands, all which nest perfectly into each other, the shortest measuring approx 17. Each strand is separately connected to the elegant, signature Kenneth Jay Lane yellow gold electroplated status clasp. The total weight of this piece is marvelous, and the quality of these luscious pearls… Well, it’s unmistakable. Kenneth Jay Lane is known for his fine, natural looking pearls. This is brand new and has never been worn. You will reach for it often, and it will elevate anything you wear. These lovely, feminine, face-framing earrings are comfortable-to-wear clips with foam pad backings. Formally entitled “The Flower Girl Earrings”, they are set in 22K gold electroplate with gray pearlescent enameled overlay, and are in the shape of a camellia flower. Swarovski® crystal stamens add a subtle touch of sparkle and glamour. These measure 1-1/4 in diameter, and are brand new. The finish of the pearled enamel in person is exactly like real pearls… Stop drooling and get this set. You know you want it. I also have this same set, but done in ivory pearls instead. An exceptional vintage 1992 statement necklace and clip-on earrings set by Kenneth Jay Lane. The design is called “Royal Sea” and is one of Kenneth Jay Lane’s most sought after works. The jewelry set is extremely high-quality 22K gold plated brass, with costume pearls, and distinctive sea themed charms including nautilus shell, scallop shell, conch shell, sand dollar and starfish. The gorgeous statement necklace has a long, chunky chain measuring 20″, and the central starfish charm is 2-1/4″ diameter.
