This beautiful set was my great Aunt’s. I took it to our wonderful local jeweler who confirmed that they are genuine pearls and the pendant and earrings are marked K14 gold and the chain is 10K gold. She said to also mention that the bail clasp on the chain is failing. The pendant and earrings are MINT! Total weight of set is 1.2 oz. Up for sale is a lovely akoya pearl double-strand necklace with solid white gold clasp. Two strands of lustrous round pearls with artfully crafted shell-shaped push-in clasp is equipped with a side safety catch, set with numerous blue sapphires. Creamy white pearls seem to illuminate the face of the wearer. Can be worn “solo” or layered with the other necklaces from your jewelry box. Can also be worn as a bracelet wrapped around the wrist. This is a pre-owned item in very good condition. Some of the pearls show blemishes expected in natural pearls. Will have to be re-strung soon (at least within a year). All the photos are of an actual item offered for sale. Only one necklace is included in the price. The necklace is 15 long. Weight: 71.1 grams – this is a very heavy necklace. Pearls slightly vary in diameter from 7.8 to 8.5 mm. Stamped 14K on the insert of the clasp. This is a pre-owned item in very good condition, several pearls have blemishes, some knots start to show fuzz – will have to be re-strung within a year.
