The pearls in this set have some scattered tiny fish bites as genuine pearls do. The pearls’ champagne color are 100% natural, not dyed. Capturing the true colors of pearls is not easy, hence I take pictures outdoors and at noon, yes, taking pictures at a different time of the day will yield different results. Yet pictures still don’t do justice in capturing these beauties. These living gems will last you a lifetime and will never go out of style. Please take a look at the pictures carefully. I try my best to capture all or any flaws of the pearls the best way I can. I do not want to mislead anyone in showing only picture perfect items. I want to set expectations as to what the pearls look like. Note: Although, there are differences in the color of computer monitors, the colors you see are as close to what the pearls would look like in person. These are genuine south sea pearls from the Philippines. These pearls come from the Pinctada Maxima – the gold-lipped oyster. These are not fresh water pearls or class A, AA or AAA pearls. (there is no such thing, it only means they are fake and not the real thing) and also please don’t compare them with pearls coming from China. We don’t manufacture pearls, we cultivate them and protect the seas so it will continue to give us back in return these precious living gems of the sea.
