This Victorian Boxed 1898 Chester Hallmarked 15ct Gold, 3 Ruby & 18 Natural Seed Pearl Set Ring has No Dents that I can find, all 3 rubies and natural seed pearls are still firmly set and not loose, the English. 625 standard 15ct or 15 carat gold Chester hallmark dated 1898 is still clearly legible although as this boxed Victorian ring is a used antique it does have some damage to the very edge of one end of its upper body and the outer body of the antique box is scuffed, the boxed ring has some extremely minor surface scratches, marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expected and a gentle clean would not go amiss. Personally I think that this antique ring can still be worn or given as a gift today and that it would make a superb addition to any jewellery collection, I also think that it has a delightful look about it considering that it’s almost 120 years old.
