This is a fine 9ct Gold Natural Seed Pearl Set Star Brooch / Pendant. Late Victorian, C1880, and marked 9ct on the reverse, the pearls are beautifully and delicately set into an elegant star shape, which was a very popular design in Victorian times. It has one large pearl, set slightly proud in the centre, and 18 of the same size set around it, and 6 smaller pearls at the points, with a further 1 on the bale. All original in their settings. The star measures 3cm in diameter (1.25 inches) and weighs 4 grams. It has a delicately shaped gold bale with inset Pearl for hanging onto a chain as a pendant. All in perfect original condition with no restoration, it was gifted to my late mother in 1950s from an elderly Victorian lady. THEASE CHARGES ARE THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY.
