Item – A simply stunning pair of antique Georgian era gold and silver pendant earrings set wit baroque pearls, emeralds and rubies. The central pearl suspended from a ruby set fringed garland crowned with emerald leaves with rose cut diamond accents, having a further pearl to the top. Stones – There are approx. 2 carats of well matched pinkish red rubies. 1 carat of lovely green emeralds and four greyish cream pearls. Measurements – The earrings have a drop of 45.1mm and are 17.7mm at the widest point. Condition – The earrings are in excellent condition with light wear associated with age, the setting have been checked and the stones are set sound.. A very nice example of a Victorian mourning brooch set with seed pears in a star pattern. The original glass is in the back it has two small chips almost on top of each other. I think this is the original hair it appears the hair has been very finely wound around a cotton and laid perfectly in layers, please zoom into photograph to make your decision.
