Antique 9ct Pearl Necklace, Graduated Pearls with 9k pearl set clasp

Graduated cultured pearl necklace set with a 9ct yellow gold seed pearl clasp. The pearl necklace is stunning hand-knotted with pearls graduating from 3.4mm to the central pearl which is a large 8mm pearl. The pearls have a high grade lustre and smooth surface quality and are perfectly matched in terms of colour and shape through the strand. The race is luminous and glossy and they are a beautiful vintage strand in excellent condition. There is some associated wear to some of the pearls surfaces but this is minimal. The colour of these pearls are soft white with pink tones to the lustre. Graduated; 3.4mm to 8mm centre. Clasp; UK hallmarked, Birmingham 9ct. Condition; excellent pre-loved, cleaned ready to wear. A Pearl Pendant and Chain chain measures approx. 15 long and is stamped 14k and the genuine pearl measures approx. 7.5 mm in diameter. A pair of genuine Pearl pierced post earrings the pearls measure approx. 6 mm in diameter each and are stamped 14k and. A Pearl ring size 5 3/4. Stamped 10k Pearl is 7-7.5 mm in diameter. This would make a beautiful birthday or holiday gift. One of the boxes is missing the outer box but it is still brand new. Please pay within two days. RARE Antique Palais Royal French Sewing Box, 18k Gold, Mother of Pearl Tools, Emeralds, c. All items and photos are the express property of Antiques & Uncommon Treasure. I’ve only rarely ever seen a set jeweled in this manner. Nor is it usual to include crochet tambours or tatting shuttle as this set does. There are 2 tambours, each neatly close into themselves and are complete. The tatting shuttle is a navette-shaped item there to the front, and is a lace/crochet-like needlework tool rare to find in these sets. There are 4 silk winders, 3 original stars and one replacement (snowflake). Stiletto, bodkin and needle case complete the set. The thimble is solid 18k gold. All in their perfectly fitted original tray and box. Additionally, box still has working lock and original key. A museum quality set. Given time, one could perhaps find a 4th star. The old original mirror remains in place, as well. Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Over 200 years, fragile set has survived almost completely intact. One replaced star silk winder. The little bas relief medallions with baby Bacchus or putti face have tiny emeralds set in a crown and some of those have been lost to the centuries. Mother of pearl shield cartouche and escutcheon perfectly set into that elegant old burled hardwood chest. Key works the lock and is original, and the box closes tightly.
