Antique Gilded Ladies Dresser Toilette Set Tray Frame Mirror Jar Pearls (840)

Vintage dresser / vanity or toilette set dating to the early 1900’s. Consists of openwork gilded brass, glass and faux pearl mirrored tray, picture frame and jewelry / trinket box. Measurements: tray 7 3/4inches long and 5 1/2inches wide. Frame 5 1/4inches high including decoration on top and 4 1/2inches wide including extra decoration. Box is 2 1/8inches high and 2 1/2inches diam excluding extentions for opening and hinges. Superb brass openwork on all 3 pieces. The mirror is surrounded by a curving gallery of swags of flowers and leaves. ON either side are handles in the form of ornate bows. The frame is ornately engraved and chased. Around the top is has a complex arrangement of flowers, each inset with an artificial pearl, one of which is damaged (upon close inspection). The table frame has a velvet backing and can stand alone. The little box has a bevelled glass lid and stands on 3 bun feet. It has magnificent floral and scrolling openwork on the sides and an elaborate gilded thumb piece. Even the little clasps that hold down the glass are very pretty. Condition of all three pieces is excellent with the exception of the one damaged pearl. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE. Antique Victorian 15ct Gold Enamel And Pearl Brooch & 9ct Earring Boxed Set. A splendid 15ct Gold Mourning Brooch/Pendant with Blue Enamel and a Centre Pearl with a Glass keepsake Locket back. It can be worn as a Brooch or Pendant. Its not Hallmarked that I can see but tests for high carat gold, most likely 15ct. I also have the Studs that have fish hook backs that match this brooch but they needed 15ct dangle earrings. I decided to match well I think, with these beautiful 9ct Gold Victorian Earrings that are marked on the back 9ct. This gorgeous well matched Set comes in the Brooches original box, thats lined with Pink/Purple Silk and Velvet Lining. The Brooch weighs 9.93 Grams and measures 40mm x 35mm and the Earrings weigh and the diameter is 14mm excluding the earrings hooks and weigh 1.59g. Great condition for its age with minor wear only and the glass to the brooch is undamaged, a few indentations on the back of the brooch around the outer edge, please see photos. Antique Victorian 9ct Gold Blue Enamel Garnet Diamond & Pearl set Brooch c1885

Victorian 9ct Gold Blue Enamel Garnet, Diamond & Pearl set Target Brooch c1885. A stunning Victorian 9ct Rose Gold & Blue Enamel Target Brooch dating to c1885, which is set with a Cabochon-cut Garnet, Diamonds & Pearls. (please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This wonderful Antique Garnet, Diamond & Pearl set Brooch, which weighs 14.5 grams and has a diameter of approx’ 3.9cms. Has been crafted in Rose Gold & Yellow Gold (unmarked but tests as 9ct Gold) and beautifully decorated with Blue Guilloche Enamel. As shown it is centrally set with a fabulous foil backed Cabochon-cut Garnet (diameter approx’ 9.0mm) within an inner surround of nine small Diamonds set on a Blue Enamel Ground within a border of Seed Pearls that are framed by a concentric circle of Blue Enamel to create a Brooch that is just sublime. As shown the Brooch has a glazed locket back compartment verso containing a piece of blue material and it is engraved with two names:’J. Typical of the Period this fine quality Brooch is unmarked, but it is guaranteed to be made from solid 9ct Gold as described. I t is set with truly gorgeous gems to create a Victorian Jewel of superior quality, which is sublimely beautiful when worn – needless to say this fabulous Garnet, Diamond & Pearl set Brooch will attract many admiring glances. Overall the Brooch is in great condition with wear to the surfaces commensurate with age, as shown. The Brooch appears to have all of it’s original Pearls but one of the Diamonds is larger than the others and may be a historic replacement but this doesn’t detract from this exquisite jewel and only really mentioning for descriptive completeness. To the reverse the’C’ Clasp appears original although the hinge and pin may have been replaced historically. In summary, this is a stunning Victorian 9ct Rose Gold & Blue Enamel Target Brooch dating to c1885, which is set with a Cabochon-cut Garnet, Diamonds & Pearls – it is quite simply sublime.
