Stunning Vintage STANLEY HAGLER NY Signed Statement Necklace and Earrings Set
A Stunning Vintage STANLEY HAGLER NY Signed Statement Necklace and Earrings Set! This is a gorgeous rare set made by the master craftsman Stanley Hagler! This set has it all – design, sparkle and movement! The necklace is 18 long (with the extension) and features pink (almost peach colored) faux baroque pearls in a double strand with gold spacers in between. These lead to the magnificent centerpiece of beaded flowers in the same peach coloring with what looks to be an acrylic flower with faux pearls and clear & AB rhinestones. This is a 2-section centerpiece with the borrow section featuring the same materials in a complimentary setting with a dangle large pink/peach baroque teardrop shaped pearl. These two segments are hinged with allows for wonderful movement and sparkle! The centerpiece is 5 3/4″ long and 3″ wide (at its widest point). Pictures don’t do this piece justice – it is simply one of the most stunning Stanley Hagler pieces I have seen!! The clip earrings feature the same style and pattern. They are 3 long and feature a flower type top with the clip and then have a dangle seeded flower design. The clips are both tight and fully functional. The necklace is clearly stamped on the back with the Stanley Hagler NY mark (see last photo). This set is in excellent vintage condition. Antique Victorian Necklace & Earring Set. How fabulous is this? An original set from the around 1890’s -1900 Victorian period in yellow gold and set with three beautiful real natural Amethysts and real pearls. So hard to come by original sets these days and this is a particularly good one with some beautiful lilac Amethysts. A great birthday (February Birthstone) or Pearl Anniversary present. Each faceted oval Amethyst is set in a prong and pierced gallery with four plain bezel set pearls at each quarter. Amethysts and pearls were very popular during the Edwardian period and the placing of the pearls on this set is very Pugilistic / Gothic in style. The necklace has an approximate 16 carat Amethyst (20.10mm x 15.60mm x 9.09mm) and the earrings are 6.14 carats each (14mm x 11mmm x 7mm) making the total carat weight of this set more than 28 carats. There are no marks on the set at all but they test over 9ct gold and I guarantee them as such. Condition is perfect and they come in a beautiful large refurbished antique leather box (not the original) which looks impressive and is perfect for giving.
