Victorian Cameo Brooch & Locket Pendant and Earring Set – Black & White Hard Stone Cameos, 14K Gold and Pearls. The antique Cameos are all carefully carved from one stone. Each Cameo is set in 14K Gold frames with a wrap around design of 37 Small Pearls on the Brooch and 22 small pearls on each earring. No photo is currently set in the locket portion of the brooch/pendant. The largest Cameo depicts a fantastically carved profile of a woman in fine dress, Single Pearl necklace, Earrings and Hair ornament. Her long curls dangle from the back of her head. The textures show off the smoothness of her skin. Viewed from the side, the Cameo is in high relief. Additionally, the Brooch can be converted to be worn as a Cameo Pendant, as the hinged bale lifts upward allowing a chain to run through it. No Chain is included. To wear as a Cameo Brooch, the bale would fold down and be tucked away. Its approximate size is 1 3/4″ Long and 1 1/4″ Wide. The matching antique Cameo screw back Earrings are exquisite unto themselves. Carved profiles of a woman, in similar style dress and adornment as the larger Cameo. And each carved to face each other, in high relief. The Cameo is in high relief. As noted, the Cameos are set in matching 14K Gold frames as the Brooch / Pendant, with the top portion of each earring is hinged, allowing flexibility. The earrings measure approximately, 1″ long and 3/4″ wide. All three pieces are in good condition with minimal, if any tarnishing in some areas of the gold mountings.
