Stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Seed Pearl Set Necklace In Fitted Case. A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Seed Pearl set Foliate Scrolling Openwork Necklace c1880, which is in crisp original condition and comes in it’s original Antique Case. (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This fine quality Antique Necklace, which is approx’ 42.0cms long & weighs 9.8 grams, is stamped on the reverse with a fineness mark’15ct’ confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold. As shown, it has been beautifully crafted with a central Floral Cluster within an ovalised openwork setting flanked to either side by scrolling openwork side pieces, both embellished with foliate decoration and all set with fine Seed Pearls. This beautiful Victorian Necklace can be worn as it is, or alternatively because it has a fixed loop, as shown, a Pendant can also be attached. It is comes with it’s original fine Trace Link Chain and push-in Barrel Clasp completing a stunning Antique Necklace that looks wonderful on the neck. To summarise the Necklace has the following dimensions. It is approx’ 42.0cms long; The central scrolled & Pearl set centrepiece is approx’ 12.5cms wide measured from each end of the scrolled Pearl set centrepiece where that chain attaches w. ANTIQUE 14K Yellow Gold GEORGIAN Natural PEARLS Necklace Earrings SET
Stunning Georgian early Victorian natural pearls and seed pearls necklace and earrings set. The clasp and earring backs are 14K yellow gold. The backing is genuine mother of pearl with the beads being meticulously sewn on one by one. The necklace has three pendants hanging from the ends of which each of the pendants will come off independently. The two outer pendants can be attached to the pearl earrings. The center pendant can be removed so the necklace will have a less formal look. The little gold loops on the necklace fold up so it is invisible to the eye. Very well constructed with lots of lustrous genuine pearls. This set is from the early 19th century. Necklace measures 15 inches, nice wearable length. Each of the earrings without the pendant attached measures 1/2 inch in diameter. With the pendant attached they would be 2 inches long. In very good antique age appropriate condition. Please remember this set is approximately 175 years plus old so the wear would be consistent with the age. There are a few of the tiny seed pearls missing around the main pearls in spots. Please examine pictures closely for further details. Feel free to zoom in on all ten pictures I provided. There may have been a repair at some point in time but the set is currently intact. Perfect for bride’s special wedding day. Note on condition, to the best of my ability flaws will be described in as much detail as possible but please be aware that if the item is vintage or antique it has age wear and in most cases is not in “mint” condition.
