A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Seed Pearl set Foliate Scrolling Openwork Necklace c1880, which is in crisp original condition and comes in it’s original Antique Case. This fine quality Antique Necklace, which is approx’ 42.0cms long & weighs 9.8 grams, is stamped on the reverse with a fineness mark’15ct’ confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold. As shown, it has been beautifully crafted with a central Floral Cluster within an ovalised openwork setting flanked to either side by scrolling openwork side pieces, both embellished with foliate decoration and all set with fine Seed Pearls. This beautiful Victorian Necklace can be worn as it is, or alternatively because it has a fixed loop, as shown, a Pendant can also be attached. It is comes with it’s original fine Trace Link Chain and push-in Barrel Clasp completing a stunning Antique Necklace that looks wonderful on the neck. Charming Antique Victorian 15ct Gold & Enamel Pearl set Mourning Ring c1873

Victorian 18ct Gold & Black Enamel Pearl set Mourning Ring. Flower Motif on Bezel; Hallmarked Birmingham 1873. A fine quality example of a Victorian 15ct Gold Mourning Ring with an oval bezel decorated with a flower motif set with Seed Pearls. (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This fine quality ring, which weighs 2.5 grams, dates to the middle of Queen Victoria’s reign and is fully hallmarked confirming that it is made of solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1873. O verall it is in good condition with a crisp clear hallmark; however commensurate with age it has lost much of it’s black enamel decoration and it has also lost it’s glazed panel together with the hair memento it would have contained. There is also a pin hole in the setting next to one of the Pearls, but this isn’t noticeable unless held up to the light and more mentioning for descriptive completeness. This superb mid-Victorian Mourning Ring has an oval Pearl set bezel that measures approx’ 13mm by 10mm and it is sized as a UK Ring Size’O’, which equates to a US Ring Size’7 1/4′. As with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i. E it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn. In summary, this is a wonderful.
