JARIN (Kasi, TM 1998 NY) Gold Gilt 925 ANGEL SKIN CORAL, PEARL & MOP Brooch SET

They are THIS item and are part of the description. I do not use stock photos or photos of other peoples items. This is a unique handmade brooch and earring set by Jarin Kasi, a New York design house with first use trademarks from 1998. The brooch is signed 925 JARIN. The matching earrings are each marked Sterling. The brooch is a stylized Carmen Miranda or Prince (similar to their Blackamoor designs) with Mother of Pearl head and huge headdress of pearl and angel skin coral flowers resembling a tree of cherry blossoms. One pearl bottom left is missing. Each clip earring is a trio of matching flowers. All of the sterling silver components are gilt in yellow gold. The brooch is 3 1/2 tall from chin to top. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. I will be happy to answer questions about a particular item to the best of my ability. I will not be able to issue discounts after the invoice is paid as a result of E-BAY requirements. Angel Skin Coral & Jade Carved Shou Dragon Bead Set Necklace & Earrings 14K Gold. A lovely set of Chinese carved coral and Jade bead necklace and earrings in 14K gold. Comprised of natural and untreated Angel Skin corals and Jadeite Jade beads, with each bead meticulously hand-carved all around with two Shou symbols for long happy life and two crouching dragons. The beads were likely carved in the 1930s to the 1960s. Mottled color with the Angel Skin corals presenting as very light orange with streaks of white here and there; the Jadeite Jade beads in green with streaks of white. Necklace: Measures 29 inches long (end to end), 57 carved graduating coral beads ranging in size from approximately 14.47 mm to 2.25 mm in diameter; and 18 Jadeite Jade carved beads with average size of 9 mm in diameter. Restrung with each bead individually double-knotted. (Note: due to graduating beads, it is more suitable to wear the necklace long rather than double-layer, because the larger beads will be on the side instead of the front in order to avoid showing the clasp). Earrings: Measures 1 5/8 inches long. The Angel Skin coral bead measures approximately 12 mm in diameter and the Jadeite Jade measures 9 mm in diameter. Set in 14K gold. The earrings are 18K gold marked on the side of the friction back 750, the markings are a little worn, but have tested 18K. The necklace is a 26 strand of beautiful 9mm angel skin coral beads that also has an oval 18mm x 13mm angel skin coral in the clasp. The earrings are 12mm in diameter by 10mm in height. The earrings are friction back. It looks like extra glue was applied on the posts to keep the coral beads from coming loose from the posts, but your jeweler can probably remove the extra glue if you wish to do so although I don’t think is necessary since that area will be agains your ear. 20% down and 90 days to pay the balance. This is a vintage 14K yellow gold (marked) angel skin coral ring with a small pearl in a leaf setting. There are three leaves, a tiny gold ball and a tendril on one side, and three leaves a the pearl on the other side. The coral balls are 6.3 and 6.5 millimeters, and the pearl is 3.3 millimeters. The top of the ring rises a little more than 1/4 inch above the finger. The ring is size 8 and weighs 3.1 grams. There is a maker’s mark of an upper case M with a curvy line through it.
