A FINE RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD OVAL BLUE ENAMEL, OLD CUT DIAMOND AND NATURAL SPLIT PEARL HINGED PHOTO LOCKET PENDANT IN GOOD CONDITION. THIS IS A STUNNING LOCKET PENDANT OF A FINE QUALITY WITH THE FRONT COVER FEATURING A BLUE ENAMEL BACKGROUND SET WITH TEN WELL MATCHED NATURAL SPLIT PEARLS WITH THREE OLD CUT DIAMONDS SET IN A STAR CUT OUT SURROUND. THE NATURAL SPLIT PEARLS ARE WELL MATCHED AND DISPLAY A GOOD LUSTRE. AN ATTRACTIVE GOLD ROPE TWIST PATTERN BORDER SURROUNDS THE EDGES OF THE LOCKET PENDANT. THE OLD CUT DIAMONDS ARE APPROXIMATELY EACH 0.2 CT MAKING AN APPROXIMATE DIAMOND TOTAL CARAT WEIGHT OF 0.6 CT. THE BACK COVER IS ENGRAVED WITH ATTRACTIVE FLORAL DETAIL WITH A VACANT CARTOUCHE IN THE CENTRE WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR THE WEARER’S INITIALS TO BE ENGRAVED.
