Antique Victorian 14K Gold Cameo Pearl Pendant Brooch Earring Set Estate Jewelry. This magnificent Victorian era set features yellow, rose, and green gold, with 15 seed pearls, floral designs, dangling tassels, detailed etchings, and three oval shaped cameos. The center piece has a brooch pin on the back, as well as a bale that swings up so it can be used on a necklace. The screw-back posts on the earrings are stamped “10-KT”, but the bodies of each piece have been professionally tested and are guaranteed 14K solid gold or better, as some English Victorian pieces are made of 15K gold. There are no other stamps evident. They have been left in their original condition without any extensive cleaning or polishing. They show some tarnishing as some gold alloys do over time. Take a close look at all of the details by enlarging the pictures. This set comes in it’s original octagonal shaped purple velvet wooden box, with the initials “AH” on the metal latch. Antique Victorian / Napoleon III demi parure set consisting of earring / ear pendants and a pendant / brooch / enhancer. 18k gold and natural fine pearls. Made in France circa 1860-80. Measurements: the earrings are approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.5cm) long, not including the wires. The brooch is approximately 2 1/2 inches (a little over 6cm) long. Combined weight 15.5grams. Note: ruler in pictures is in inches. Classic Napoleon III Victorian jewelry set – beautifully made in looping bands of gold surrounding openwork scrolls, bordered by gold knife-edge scrolling ribbons and set throughout with fine natural pearls. The open central area is hung with pearl flowers and more pearl flowers are swagged under the oval centres. Matching pearlwork on top – more elaborate on the brooch / pendant than on the earrings. The bale of the pendant is similarly formed by a pair of gold ribbon borders around fine scrolling goldwork. Fabulous French rich design and fine workmanship. A Gorgeous and rare set to wear by day/night. Marks: all items are hallmarked with French eagle for 18k gold. Other marks are too small to read. Condition: good, original condition.
