Antique, Edwardian 15ct Gold Brooch, Set With Seed Pearls And Amethysts

Very unusual and unique antique Edwardian brooch, marked 15ct yellow gold. An arched frame is set with a grid of natural seed pearls and topped with a row of eight cabochon-set faceted square amethysts. The frame comes to a point at the bottom from which hangs a fine, pear-shaped, deep purple amethyst en tremblant. There is a sturdy pin on the rear and a traditional C-shaped clasp. Length 3.5 cms x 2.5 cms incl drop. A very stylish piece which is just as wearable now as it was when it was made 100 years ago. Antique Gold RG/GF Necklace with Gorgeous Drop c1880’s. This lovely necklace and pendant is in excellent Antique condition. The chain holds an extremely pretty pendant drop. This drop consists of two short chains which attach to the sides of the flower like pendant, which itself is held within a gold circle. This circle has four pearls about the edge. The’flower’ has a red stone at its centre. A teeny heart hangs from the base of the flower, and has a tiny red stone. All gold filled is nicely decorative, in good order for age, some slight wear on the edges. A great piece from Victorian/Edwardian times. The fob would have decorated a lady’s watch chain. It is highly detailed and beautifully made. The photographs show best exactly how lovely this piece is. This is a very old piece, with the chain being 50 cms long, and the gorgeous antique pendant is 7cms overall. A marvellous specimen from a by-gone age, exceptionally pretty and ornate. Estate found, the authentic Tiffany leather box carries the 3 sets or 6 pcs of simple, yet elegant and handsome 14 K tested tuxedo studs. The gold is remarkably well crafted around the 15 mm diameter mother of pearl. The center is a small seed real pearl. The Tiffany tan colored leather box 3″x 2″x1 is weathered and has great character scuffs and suitably fits well for the studs, like it was made exclusively for the set.
