Antique French beautiful, 18 carat rose gold earrings: This gorgeous pair of antique French gold earrings are set with tiny little seed pearls and are made for pierced ears. Each of them carries the French horses head hallmark for jewellery, which was used from 1838 to 1919. I would say that these earrings date to the mid to late 1800s. They are tiny and delicate and each is set with 7 little seed pearls. They are 1cm across at the top or 3/8. The hallmarks are very tiny and they are situated on the bar that goes through the ear. Fine Antique 18ct Gold Rim Art Deco Mother Of Pearl & Turquoise Button Set

This is for an absolutely delightful, stunning, Art Deco set of 18ct gold rim, enamel, mother of pearl and turquoise button set. The impressive, superbly crafted set comprises of six buttons. All buttons are hallmarked “18CT” around the edge of the rims, this is for 18 carat gold fineness. The rims have also been independently tested and show as 18ct gold. The larger, outer circle of the button face is made from white enamel, this has a jet black border which separates and defines the enamel from the inner circle which is made from beautiful, iridescent mother of pearl. The center of the buttons are set with stunning turquoise. As already mentioned the fine buttons are encapsulated within a very high carat gold. This in itself is quite rare as most similar button sets were more commonly made from unmarked 9 carat gold. The reverse of the button are also of great quality and are also. They are made from mother of pearl with gilt metal eyes. The gilt is in great condition. The buttons still have all of their six fastening hooks. These are also made from gilt metal. All attach perfectly to the buttons and work exactly as should. Diameter of each button 1. Total overall weight for the set is 8.88grams. All are housed within a period brown leatherette box with a silk and velvet lined inner. The presentation box measures 6 inches in length x 2 inches depth. The buttons appear to have been very well loved and cared for, seldomly used and then safely stored away for many years in a draw. This is a stunning, fine Art deco period set and is presented in superb condition. Please note that photographs have been enlarged to show as much detail as possible. Antique French 1.75ct Ruby & Pearl Enamel & 18K Yellow Gold Bangle & Brooch Set. Presented is an antique French ruby, natural pearl & enamel 18K yellow gold bangle & brooch set. This fantastic rare set features detailed hand worked decorations in the gold around fine old cut rubies, natural pearls and even tassels dropping from the brooch. You have to admire the pinkish red rubies worked up on tall prongs as well as fine etching through the gold and delicate enamel inlay to finish this finely designed set. As you can see, this set comes with a special made box. We believe that there were two other pieces in the set which were lost over the years, but at least the bangle and brooch are in good condition with light wear on the gold and a little enamel missing. The rubies in this set are old mine cut weighing approximately 1.75 carats total; these rubies are pinkish red with natural inclusions. The pearls are natural untreated, some are cut in half in order to serve the purpose of the design and they are accented with black enamel around the frame of the pieces. This set was hand made in 18K yellow gold plus it weighs 46.6 grams total. This bangle measures 1.77 inches (45mm) wide and it should fit a 6.25 inch wrist. The brooch measures 2.95 inches by 2.83 inches (75mm by 72mm) and it has tassel style decorations dropping at the bottom. The set is overall well kept with light wear on the surface of the gold, light wear on the enamel and rich patina. The bangle has a couple of old French hallmarks on the gold.
