RARE Antique Palais Royal French Sewing Box, 18k Gold, Mother of Pearl Tools, Emeralds, c. All items and photos are the express property of Antiques & Uncommon Treasure. I’ve only rarely ever seen a set jeweled in this manner. Nor is it usual to include crochet tambours or tatting shuttle as this set does. There are 2 tambours, each neatly close into themselves and are complete. The tatting shuttle is a navette-shaped item there to the front, and is a lace/crochet-like needlework tool rare to find in these sets. There are 4 silk winders, 3 original stars and one replacement (snowflake). Stiletto, bodkin and needle case complete the set. The thimble is solid 18k gold. All in their perfectly fitted original tray and box. Additionally, box still has working lock and original key. A museum quality set. Given time, one could perhaps find a 4th star. The old original mirror remains in place, as well. Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Over 200 years, fragile set has survived almost completely intact. One replaced star silk winder. The little bas relief medallions with baby Bacchus or putti face have tiny emeralds set in a crown and some of those have been lost to the centuries. Mother of pearl shield cartouche and escutcheon perfectly set into that elegant old burled hardwood chest. Key works the lock and is original, and the box closes tightly. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 22 carat yellow gold, 20.25 carat coral and 0.05 carat diamond jewellery set (necklace, bangle, brooch and earrings); part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning antique Victorian jewellery set, consisting of a necklace, brooch, bangle and earrings, is handcrafted in 22ct yellow gold. The anterior face of the bangle is ornamented with a strapwork style design accented with bead decorated cuffs, incorporating an impressive coral bead to the centre of the design. The coral bead is further ornamented with an applied six point 22ct yellow gold star embellished with a single old mine cut diamond. The impressive hinged bangle secures to one side with a integrated push fit clasp. The coral is encircled with an a further bead decorated border. The brooch has an oval form and features the identical strapwork style ornamentation as that to the bangle. The brooch is further ornamented with four bead decorated triangular motifs, in addition to an applied rope twist decorated border. The main body of this impressive Victorian brooch contains a locket to the reverse, suitable to hold a photograph or personal memento. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin. Antique Gilded Ladies Dresser Toilette Set Tray Frame Mirror Jar Pearls (840)

Vintage dresser / vanity or toilette set dating to the early 1900’s. Consists of openwork gilded brass, glass and faux pearl mirrored tray, picture frame and jewelry / trinket box. Measurements: tray 7 3/4inches long and 5 1/2inches wide. Frame 5 1/4inches high including decoration on top and 4 1/2inches wide including extra decoration. Box is 2 1/8inches high and 2 1/2inches diam excluding extentions for opening and hinges. Superb brass openwork on all 3 pieces. The mirror is surrounded by a curving gallery of swags of flowers and leaves. ON either side are handles in the form of ornate bows. The frame is ornately engraved and chased. Around the top is has a complex arrangement of flowers, each inset with an artificial pearl, one of which is damaged (upon close inspection). The table frame has a velvet backing and can stand alone. The little box has a bevelled glass lid and stands on 3 bun feet. It has magnificent floral and scrolling openwork on the sides and an elaborate gilded thumb piece. Even the little clasps that hold down the glass are very pretty. Condition of all three pieces is excellent with the exception of the one damaged pearl. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE. Antique Victorian 15ct Gold Enamel And Pearl Brooch & 9ct Earring Boxed Set. A splendid 15ct Gold Mourning Brooch/Pendant with Blue Enamel and a Centre Pearl with a Glass keepsake Locket back. It can be worn as a Brooch or Pendant. Its not Hallmarked that I can see but tests for high carat gold, most likely 15ct. I also have the Studs that have fish hook backs that match this brooch but they needed 15ct dangle earrings. I decided to match well I think, with these beautiful 9ct Gold Victorian Earrings that are marked on the back 9ct. This gorgeous well matched Set comes in the Brooches original box, thats lined with Pink/Purple Silk and Velvet Lining. The Brooch weighs 9.93 Grams and measures 40mm x 35mm and the Earrings weigh and the diameter is 14mm excluding the earrings hooks and weigh 1.59g. Great condition for its age with minor wear only and the glass to the brooch is undamaged, a few indentations on the back of the brooch around the outer edge, please see photos.
