On offer is a beautiful 15ct gold brooch in the form of a Swallow on the wing, set with six turquoise stones and eight split seed pearl. Without a full set of hallmarks it is impossible to date this brooch exactly, but the style is typically late Victorian. It is clearly stamped 15ct. On the back of one of its wings. The brooch is in overall very good condition, free of any damage. The pin is in good working order and secures well to the C-clasp. It still has its original gold safety chain. It measures approximately 45mm in length and weighs approximately 5.17g. It comes in its original silk and velvet lined presentation box. The silk bears the details of the original retailers.
