Carved Pink Peruvian Opal And Pearls Necklace With 14k Gold Beads Set With Ear

Offered is a top quality natural clean carved Pink Peruvian Opal bead necklace. It has 5 6mm Fresh Water Pearls. The center has Pink Opal beads carved as conch shells and a faceted Rose Opal. The necklace has corrugated 14K gold rondel beads and a 14K Pearl Safety clasp. It is 18 inches long. To go with the necklace are earrings made from the Carved Conch Shell beads on 14K Gold Ball and post Earrings. I really went all out in making this necklace. The materials are wonderful! Peruvian Opal is found in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It is either the opaque pink or the translucent blue. Pink Opal also comes from Australia. These opals are easy to carve so are good for beginning stone carvers. Opals can be fractured by excessive heat so do not put it under hot water or near fire. Peruvian Opal is the national stone of Peru. It is called the stone of love and forgiveness. Has been making beaded jewelry since 2001. I make and wear jewelry for myself and have stones unavailable on the market especially cut to specifications for me. Please see other jewelry which I have for offer. This necklace is strong on wire with a 26-pound pull. DO NOT hang it for storage as that stresses the wire and leads to breakage. Store it in a soft padded box. Do not fold or roll it tightly. Practice opening and closing the clasp before putting it on, so that you know what to do behind your neck. Angel Skin Coral & Jade Carved Shou Dragon Bead Set Necklace & Earrings 14K Gold. A lovely set of Chinese carved coral and Jade bead necklace and earrings in 14K gold. Comprised of natural and untreated Angel Skin corals and Jadeite Jade beads, with each bead meticulously hand-carved all around with two Shou symbols for long happy life and two crouching dragons. The beads were likely carved in the 1930s to the 1960s. Mottled color with the Angel Skin corals presenting as very light orange with streaks of white here and there; the Jadeite Jade beads in green with streaks of white. Necklace: Measures 29 inches long (end to end), 57 carved graduating coral beads ranging in size from approximately 14.47 mm to 2.25 mm in diameter; and 18 Jadeite Jade carved beads with average size of 9 mm in diameter. Restrung with each bead individually double-knotted. (Note: due to graduating beads, it is more suitable to wear the necklace long rather than double-layer, because the larger beads will be on the side instead of the front in order to avoid showing the clasp). Earrings: Measures 1 5/8 inches long. The Angel Skin coral bead measures approximately 12 mm in diameter and the Jadeite Jade measures 9 mm in diameter. Set in 14K gold.
