This is an estate find, so I don’t know the history of the pearls. They are stacked tightly and are flatter than round: 5 mm across and 3 mm high. The pendant has 4 small diamonds — 2 on each side of the center 7 mm round pearl. Both the clasp and the pendant are marked 14K. Pendant is also marked “73” and N. This necklace weighs 15.4 grams. Graduated cultured pearl necklace set with a 9ct yellow gold seed pearl clasp. The pearl necklace is stunning hand-knotted with pearls graduating from 3.4mm to the central pearl which is a large 8mm pearl. The pearls have a high grade lustre and smooth surface quality and are perfectly matched in terms of colour and shape through the strand. The race is luminous and glossy and they are a beautiful vintage strand in excellent condition. There is some associated wear to some of the pearls surfaces but this is minimal.
