Victorian/Georgian 18ct yellow gold Diamond set clasp natural seed pearls

Late Georgian or Early Victorian row of Graduated natural seed pearls all in good condition for their age. Sizes largest 5.5mm going down to 1.5 mm. The string including clasp measures 43cm or 18inches approx. The clasp (tests) 18 ct yellow gold set with two large old cut diamonds they spread 4mm x4.8mm as these are old cuts thats an approximation as these stones are shallower than modern cuts they are a lovely white colour and a good quality. The snap in clasp is all intact and working new addition is the fig of eight safety clasp which has been sympathetically added at a later date than the piece. Please note that there is one small pearl missing see photos and I would recommend it being rethread by a professional pearl threader…. Sad to see it go….
