JARIN (Kasi, TM 1998 NY) Gold Gilt 925 ANGEL SKIN CORAL, PEARL & MOP Brooch SET

This is a unique handmade brooch and earring set by Jarin Kasi, a New York design house with first use trademarks from 1998. The brooch is signed 925 JARIN. The matching earrings are each marked Sterling. The brooch is a stylized Carmen Miranda or Prince (similar to their Blackamoor designs) with Mother of Pearl head and huge headdress of pearl and angel skin coral flowers resembling a tree of cherry blossoms. One pearl bottom left is missing. Each clip earring is a trio of matching flowers. All of the sterling silver components are gilt in yellow gold. The brooch is 3 1/2 tall from chin to top. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. I will be happy to answer questions about a particular item to the best of my ability. I will not be able to issue discounts after the invoice is paid as a result of E-BAY requirements. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 22 carat yellow gold, 20.25 carat coral and 0.05 carat diamond jewellery set (necklace, bangle, brooch and earrings); part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning antique Victorian jewellery set, consisting of a necklace, brooch, bangle and earrings, is handcrafted in 22ct yellow gold. The anterior face of the bangle is ornamented with a strapwork style design accented with bead decorated cuffs, incorporating an impressive coral bead to the centre of the design. The coral bead is further ornamented with an applied six point 22ct yellow gold star embellished with a single old mine cut diamond. The impressive hinged bangle secures to one side with a integrated push fit clasp. The coral is encircled with an a further bead decorated border. The brooch has an oval form and features the identical strapwork style ornamentation as that to the bangle. The brooch is further ornamented with four bead decorated triangular motifs, in addition to an applied rope twist decorated border. The main body of this impressive Victorian brooch contains a locket to the reverse, suitable to hold a photograph or personal memento. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin. The earrings also feature the coral bead and star design displayed within an 22ct yellow gold incurved setting, accented with bands of bead decoration to the upper and lower portions. The earrings are further embellished with large bead motifs, encircled with applied rope twist borders. Each earring bears impressive articulated tassel style designs to the lower border. These substantial articulated drops suspended from French hook fastenings. The pendant reflects the same shape and design as the earrings, suspended from an impressive rope chain necklace, via a bead decorated bale. The reverse of the pendant is fitted with a push fit glass panel, allowing for a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed. The stunning set has has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 22 carat gold. This antique jewellery set is supplied with a independent diamond grading report card. This exceptional 1880’s coral jewellery set is fitted to the stunning, original leatherette, shaped presentation case which has a velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push catch.
