Vintage 9ct gold Pearl & Amethyst Lavalier Pendant on chain + Earrings Set 5.90g

Antique 9ct gold Necklace & Earring Set. An original set from the past in 9ct yellow gold and set with four beautiful natural Amethysts and seed pearls. So hard to come by original sets these days and this is a particularly good one with some beautiful purple Amethysts. Each faceted oval Amethyst is claw set with one plain bezel set pearl at the top. Amethysts and pearls were very popular during the Edwardian period. The necklace is set with 2 Amethysts and one seed pearl (6.2mm across and 9mm x 7mm) and the earrings have 9mm x 7mm Amethyst and one seed pearl each. The pendant is stamped 9ct at the reverse. The earrings are not hallmarked. Size: necklace chain is 16.5 42cm then the drop is 4cm. Earrings: drop length is 4cm measured from the top of the ball. Total combined weight 5.90 grams. Condition is good considering its age and use. Please note the jump ring is not gold. Can be removed or replaced. The clasp has been replaced. The set come in a nice antique box. Antique Victorian Earrings Pendant Brooch Set Gold Pearls French Parure (5623)

Antique Victorian / Napoleon III demi parure set consisting of earring / ear pendants and a pendant / brooch / enhancer. 18k gold and natural fine pearls. Made in France circa 1860-80. Measurements: the earrings are approximately 1 3/4 inches (4.5cm) long, not including the wires. The brooch is approximately 2 1/2 inches (a little over 6cm) long. Combined weight 15.5grams. Note: ruler in pictures is in inches. Classic Napoleon III Victorian jewelry set – beautifully made in looping bands of gold surrounding openwork scrolls, bordered by gold knife-edge scrolling ribbons and set throughout with fine natural pearls. The open central area is hung with pearl flowers and more pearl flowers are swagged under the oval centres. Matching pearlwork on top – more elaborate on the brooch / pendant than on the earrings. The bale of the pendant is similarly formed by a pair of gold ribbon borders around fine scrolling goldwork. Fabulous French rich design and fine workmanship. A Gorgeous and rare set to wear by day/night. Marks: all items are hallmarked with French eagle for 18k gold. Other marks are too small to read. Condition: good, original condition.
