Asprey London 18k Gold & Enamel & Pearl Cufflinks & Collar Studs Set Vintage

An exquisite set of gentlemens cuff links and collar studs by Asprey of Bond Street, London. Beautiful blue enamel set on 18ct yellow gold chained rounds. Lovely condition for the age. There is a small scratch in the enamel on the front of one cufflinks which is visible on the photograph. Lightly engraved by jeweller who manufactured them? Engraved with RD or Ro? Some very light surface wear on the enamel of both cuff links. Perhaps this could be polished out by a professional jeweller? 18ct gold studs with stunning pearl centres, finished with blue enamel edge. Hallmark stamped on reverse (see photographs). Brown leather bound box with gold detailing around edge. Some minor scuffing to surface. Clasp and hinge working fine. Pale cream silk & velvet interior with gold logo Asprey 166 Bond St London. Embossed to fit the set of links and studs. Some natural discolouration from where the cuff links sit. My husband has owned these since the 1980s, so we have had them for over 30 years, kept away in a drawer. They have a 1930s style to them and the box also suggests this and perhaps even earlier, however we do not have any confirmation on the date of manufacture so have to list them as vintage. Charming Antique Victorian 15ct Gold & Enamel Pearl set Mourning Ring c1873

Victorian 18ct Gold & Black Enamel Pearl set Mourning Ring. Flower Motif on Bezel; Hallmarked Birmingham 1873. A fine quality example of a Victorian 15ct Gold Mourning Ring with an oval bezel decorated with a flower motif set with Seed Pearls. (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This fine quality ring, which weighs 2.5 grams, dates to the middle of Queen Victoria’s reign and is fully hallmarked confirming that it is made of solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1873. O verall it is in good condition with a crisp clear hallmark; however commensurate with age it has lost much of it’s black enamel decoration and it has also lost it’s glazed panel together with the hair memento it would have contained. There is also a pin hole in the setting next to one of the Pearls, but this isn’t noticeable unless held up to the light and more mentioning for descriptive completeness. This superb mid-Victorian Mourning Ring has an oval Pearl set bezel that measures approx’ 13mm by 10mm and it is sized as a UK Ring Size’O’, which equates to a US Ring Size’7 1/4′. As with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i. E it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn. In summary, this is a wonderful.
