This lovely, authentic Georgian period pendant and matching earrings is English and in excellent condition. The pendant has a closed setting with a foiled round flat cut garnet at the top and two garnet-set chains descending to a large, oval, flat cut garnet. A pearl is suspended from the top garnet and has a tiny garnet terminal. Two pearls and a closed back, foiled teardrop shaped garnet are linked by the chain to the large, oval garnet. The pendant is shown with a ribbon attached so the length may be adjusted but would lovely hung from a gold chain. The matching earrings are set in gold, closed-back with foiled, teardrop shaped garnets. The garnets all have nice rounded gold backs verso. The pendant measures approximately 1 7/8″ long x 3/4″ wide. The earrings measure approximately 15/16 long. Weight: 4.9 grams.
