A stunning Victorian 9ct Gold Pearl set Lucky Horseshoe Trilogy Bangle dating to c1885 , which would have been given as a gift of undying & true love – Trilogy Jewellery was particularly loved by the Romantic Victorians who frequently used Jewellery to subtly convey the sentiment of Love – with each of the three Horseshoes symbolising a word -‘I Love You’ (please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of this item’s description). This wonderful Antique Romantic Bangle, which has an internal circumference of approx’ 16.0cms and weighs 8.3 grams, has been beautifully crafted in solid Gold i. E it is not gold plated, although it is of hollow tubular construction to ensure it remains light enough for the wearer’s comfort. It has as its focal point a front panel consisting of a’Trilogy of Horseshoes’, which measures approx’ 2.9cms long x approx’ 11.5mm high. Typical of the Period the Bangle is stamped unmarked, but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be made from solid 9ct Gold.
