Vintage Pearl Bridal Set 14k Gold Diamond, Mabe Blister Pearl Earrings Pendant

Vintage Mabe Pearl, Diamond and 14k Yellow Gold pendant and earrings jewelry set. This stunning set comes from the estate of my grandmother, a former fashion model in the 1940s. She had an eye for unique statement pieces which embodied a classic sophistication mixed with a hint of over the top flare. I think this set exemplifies her taste and speaks to her love of the classics; Pearls, Gold and Diamonds. I imagine she would be pleased to see these pieces live on, gracing the likes of somebody who would love them as she did. The pendant, weighing 14 grams, is a large Mabe “blister” pearl that is light gray in color, with a gorgeous rainbow iridescence. It is framed by a 14k 585 yellow gold setting, with a gold flourish swirl on the face. Accented with 8 cut diamonds set in a smaller gold flourish on the lower face, opposite the big swirl. The bail is a hinged pressure clasp for easily attaching and removing from any chain you like. The pendant (not including bail) is 44mm long, 25mm across the widest point (top). The matching earrings are white Mabe button pearls with more subtle rainbow iridescence. Set in a 14k gold braided setting which alternates between a gold section and a diamond encrusted section. Each earring has a total of 9 cut diamonds in the setting. The ear wire post is gold and has a hinged gold pressure clasp. Each earring weighs 7 grams and is 20mm total diameter (each pearl is 15mm diameter).
