When I first received it, I wondered if at the very top of the row of diamonds on the pendant it might be missing a diamond, but I used a magnifier to look at it and decided it was not. It is where the gold bends into the top of the heart. The pictures show the approximate sizes of the items. The size of the earring heart is smaller than the size of the pendant heart. The pendant hangs on a chain at an angle. A thin chain fits under the row of diamonds. The last picture shows the pendant on a chain but this listing is for the pendant and earrings only. THE CHAIN IS NOT INCLUDED. The row of diamonds on the earrings are a mirror image. These items are used and could be even prettier if they are professionally cleaned. An elaborate and excellent outer box of rich burled wood with stunning work in cut steel pin pique work. Opens to reveal the complete set of Palais Royal sewing implements, including the original scent flacon, bottle, still in their fitted lift-out shelf. All the very best goods, confections, social events hail from that center of high society. Trim and cap are 18k gold. Working lock and original key, original silk pad and the old original mirror still intact. Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Quite amazing to find without losses to the cut steel pique, but I see none. No warp, the lid closes and locks smoothly. Interior silk shows some age, but remarkable for age. The tools are all original to this case, perfect fit, with possible exception of the needle. It ought to be 18k gold. The one in it fits the space, but it is silver. The thimble is beautiful, quite thick, actually, and on one side it has a chip (shown in images) which doesn’t go all through, just flashes the outer rim. The needle case has a recess for a little 18k gold and enamel plaque, but it is no longer with the case. Top to the original tiny scent bottle is also 18k gold, as is the handle caps for the scissors, and trim on the needle case. A superb set – very difficult to find these. Beautiful antique or vintage gentleman’s real Mother of Pearl cufflinks and stud set from Harrods, vintage unknown but probably bought in the 1950’s though it’s possible they’re older. In original box with’Harrods’ imprint on the silk and with a paper label stating’real mother of pearl’. As far as I can tell, the set appears to be complete. 1 pair of cufflinks and 9 studs of different shapes and sizes and with different fixings. Box itself snaps shut and measures 3″ x 4″.
