Antique Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Amethyst & Seed Pearl Set Pendant Necklace c1900

This listing is for a fine 9ct gold, art nouveau pendant and 9ct gold chain. Made in England circa 1900, the pendant has 38 nicely set natural seed pearls, a central oval cut amethyst flanked by two smaller round cut amethysts, set above a pear cut amethyst drop. The pendant is 3cm wide by 4cm, and is faintly stamped 9ct on the back. It is also stamped with the makers mark, of which I can only read the first part; H&. The chain is of 9 carat rose gold. Insect pin’s lower wing portion features a light green & blue plique a jour enamel, and the upper wings have a salmon and light green colored enamel. Insect has a baroque pearl body, a blue gem set center, and cabochon red eyes. Presented in very good overall condition with some enamel loss to the tip of one wing, pin has a slight bow to it, shows normal wear for age (See photos).
