Ladies 15ct gold antique dress ring, set with Seed Pearls and Almandine Garnets. This ring is stunning and considering it’s age it’s in fairly good condition too. The ring is antique and we have dated it Birmingham 1899. The top of the ring has a diamond shaped setting which has a row of 5 Seed pearls running along the centre of it. Set on both sides of the pears are 3 Almandine Garnets. The centre pearl is the largest and measures at 4mm in diameter. The Garnet stones each measure at 2.2mm diameter. The rings setting measures at 10.5mm wide. The shank of the ring has a beautiful design running along it which really adds to the character of the ring, this design is something you don’t see on rings these days and a lot of time and effort has been put into this ring whilst making it. The very bottom outside edge of the shank has a small area where the ring looks to of had a repair. Grab yourself a beautiful ring which is full of history and character. UK Ring Size – J 1/2. The ring is marked 14K in the shank and has other markings that I cannot tell what they are. I could not find any markings on the earrings, but they were acid tested and are guarangeed to be 14K gold. Each earring and the ring have a 20×14.5mm Mabe pearl drop. This a very old set and as is natural in pearls to have some minor flaws. The earrings have post omega back and are for pierced ears. The earrings and the ring’s top measure 24x15mm. The can be resized by your local jeweler. The set is in good condition and weigh. 20% down and 90 days to pay the balance. There are three leaves, a tiny gold ball and a tendril on one side, and three leaves a the pearl on the other side. The coral balls are 6.3 and 6.5 millimeters, and the pearl is 3.3 millimeters. The top of the ring rises a little more than 1/4 inch above the finger. The ring is size 8 and weighs 3.1 grams. There is a maker’s mark of an upper case M with a curvy line through it.
