Tiffany sent the strand back after re-stringing in a brand new navy blue Tiffany velvet snap, satin lined fold-over pearl pouch, complete with outer Tiffany box and white ribbon. The entire presentation is stunning, and would make any woman delighted. The pearls measure at or over 7mm near the center of the strand, and taper ever so slightly toward the clasp into the 6.5 to 7mm range. You will see I have placed the strand on some photos in John Loring’s book, Tiffany Pearls, for effect. The luster is amazing, and as is typical in Tiffany pearls, the pearls have thick nacre and rose overtones. They are similar in quality to Mikimoto, and among the finest offered in the marketplace.
