The metal has a rich matte gold tone metal with a brutalist design, and each has baquette smokey topaz crystals. Charming Antique Georgian Gold Topaz & Pearl set Cluster Ring c1800

Stunning Georgian Gold Foiled Topaz & Pearl Cluster Ring c1800. A stunning Georgian Gold Foiled Topaz & Pearl Cluster Ring, which dates to c1800. (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.4 grams, has a reeded shank leading to the beautiful Acanthus Leaf bifurcated shoulders with Seed Pearl set trefoil decoration that support the foil backed Topaz & Seed Pearl set bezel (approx’ 10.5mm by 9.5mm). Typical of the period, the ring is unmarked but it is guaranteed to be made from solid Gold. Overall the ring is in really great condition with only wear commensurate with age; as shown it is inscribed behind the bezel with the initials’W. On close examination the ring has been re-sized a couple of times and a slightly Rose coloured piece has been inserted to enlarge the reeded shank – this won’t really be noticed when the ring is worn and more mentioning for descriptive completeness. This superb Georgian Ring is sized as a UK Ring Size’L’, which equates to a US Ring Size’5 3/4′; as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i. E it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.
