Stunning Antique Victorian 15ct Gold Pink Tourmaline & Pearl Floral Cluster Ring c1863. A stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Pink Tourmaline & Pearl set Floral Cluster Ring, which dates to 1863. (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 1.9 grams, has a plain’D’ shaped shank with decorated shoulders supporting the Pink Tourmaline & Pearl set Floral Cluster Bezel that has a diameter of approx’ 10.0mm with a further Pearl set to either side. This beautiful 19th Century ring combines the femininity and beauty of this bygone age in a ring that is quite simply sublime. As shown this fine quality ring is stamped with a full British Hallmark, confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold and that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1863. Overall the ring is in great condition with only age appropriate wear; when viewed through a Jewellers Loupe two of the Pink Tourmalines each have a flea bite to a facet edge, but this isn’t really visible to the naked eye and doesn’t detract from what is a beautiful mid Victorian Ring. As shown the hallmark is still relatively crisp and clear, which is indicative of the ring’s overall condition and of how little it has been worn. As shown the ring is a UK Ring Size’O 1/2′, which equates to a US Ring Size’7 1/2; a. S with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i. E it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn. Antique Victorian 18K Emerald & Pearl Necklace & Bracelet Set. A gorgeous antique demi parure dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880’s. The necklace and bracelet are set with seed pearls and natural emeralds, (not oiled or filled, in our opinion). The largest emerald, in the necklace, is approx. There are over 150 emeralds in this set and perhaps even more pearls. The metal is unmarked and tests between 14K and 18K and we guarantee it to be at least 14K. The weight of the two items is approx. The emeralds are of medium quality. Some are “crunched” but there are none missing. The color is a more intense, deeper green than the photos show. I don’t know why emeralds always seem to look paler and more blue in pictures than they really are? The set is Guaranteed to be as described. Note: the chain and clasp on the necklace are a deeper yellow color than the rest and was probably added later. It tests just under 18K. Please do not ask us to do so.
