Vintage 10K Gold Modernist Tension Set 5MM Akoya Pearl Bypass Solitaire Ring Sz6

Vintage Mid Century Modernist 10k Gold 5.5MM Akoya Pearl Solitaire Ring UNIQUE. Vintage Modernist 10k Gold 5.5MM Akoya Pearl Bypass Tension Set Solitaire Ring UNIQUE. It is definitely not a “cookie cutter” big box store type of ring you see on everybody. This ring is circa 1960s. It’s done in 10k solid gold, and the mounting is very different. The 5.5 mm Akoya pearl has great lustre and what looks to be thick nacre. I see no blemishes. The setting has two squared offset bars of gold underneath the pearl which bypass each other, and two more squared bars of gold which rise up on each side in a cathedral fashion and make the pearl look “tension set” with no prongs! The face measures 3/8″ wide and sits up 5/16″ off the finger. It is hallmarked P10k (P for Plumb Gold, meaning solid 10k, no more and no less) in a raised cartouche under the pearl. Vintage Designer MIRIAM HASKELL Bracelet & Earrings Set. This is a rare and beautiful vintage bracelet and earrings set by designer Miriam Haskell. The bracelet is composed of three gleaming strands of lustrous faux baroque pearls in graduated sizes and a gorgeous floral clasp at one end. The pearl strands are linked in-between tiny gold tone spacer beads (though most of the beads do not show the original gold tone as there is age related wear). The bracelet’s floral clasp is. Exquisitely fashioned into a large luminous bloom with glistening faux pearl petals and a glossy faux pearl cabochon center. The pearl cab is encircled by a ring of sparkling clear rhinestones and creamy faux seed pearls. The lovely earrings in this set share the same components and design as the bracelet flower clasp. The jewelry setting is. In gold tone metal with the bracelet clasp and earrings bearing a fine filigree base. The bracelet closes with a slide in clasp and the earrings are in a clip on style. The bracelet measures 7 1/2″ long and the earrings measure 1 3/4″ across. The bracelet is marked with the designer’s hallmark on the back of the floral clasp and t he earrings are marked on the clip backs. The vintage condition of this fabulous jewelry is quite good with a small amount of wear, mostly noted to the gold tone metal and some of the pearls. Even so, you can be rest assured this jewelry is absolutely gorgeous looking! This captivating designer set will make a wonderful and cherished addition to any fine vintage jewelry col lection!
