Victorian Gold, White & Blue Sapphire Butterfly Brooch. An Edwardian Pearl and Diamond Flowers Brooch Set In 18ct Gold. This stunning 18 carat yellow and rose gold brooch is in the shape of a bunch of flowers and is adorned by 31 sparkling diamonds and 10 gorgeous, creamy pearls. It comes with a little gold safety chain. The item is not hallmarked but we have tested the gold content. All the brilliant cut diamonds have been checked. The whole item sparkles. We estimate the central diamond is 0.45 carats, the 2 by the lower single pearl are 0.25cts as is that in the left flower. The smallest diamonds forming the flower petals at 6 points with the rest averaging 15 points. We estimate the total weight of the diamonds to be 3.4 carat, but lets say 3.25 to be on the cautious side. The brooch is 2 inches (5cm) tall by 1.3 inches (3.25cm) wide. The chain has a length of 2.5 inches (6.5cm). The total weight is 10.3 grams. The brooch is in very good condition and it looks gorgeous when worn.
